CHANCEL CHOIR

The Chancel Choir, made up of men and women from all walks of life, provides music for our traditional Sunday services at 8:15 and 11:15 am, and on special occasions may participate in programs outside the church community. Instrumental accompaniment is provided by piano and organ. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM.

JUBILATE (Yew-bi-latte) SINGERS

Various styles and periods of music are sung by this small ensemble at our traditional services once a month, and perform for various community programs throughout the year. An interview is necessary for membership. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 5-6:30 pm.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM

Members of the PCUMC Praise Team are of different ages and talents who lend themselves to a contemporary style of music especially at the 9:45 am service. Instrumentation is built around guitar, bass, piano or keyboard, drums and various percussions. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 8:30 am.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR, JoySong

JoySong sings at worship services every third Sunday of the month in addition to selected special programs during the year, and meets every Tuesday afternoon during the regular school year from 3:30-5:30 pm. Children, ages four through twelve years, may join. Bus transportation from some of the local schools is provided.

HANDBELL CHOIR

You are cordially invited to the the PCUMC Handbell Choir in music, worship and fellowship! Handbell Choir performs once a month (usually the last Sunday) at the traditional worship services. They also play for various community functions throughout the year. Rehearsal takes place every Monday evening, 6:00-8:00PM in the music suite. No music experience is necessary--but fun is guaranteed!
